Allcon Contracting is enhancing building accessibility through the installation of a new elevator, which includes a building addition and excavation work. This complex project involves ensuring access to all floors, constructing new single-user bathrooms, and installing a compliant ramp at the main entrance. The project will convert at least 25% of typical classrooms and all programmatically unique rooms to be accessible, provide accessible bathrooms for 3-K, Pre-K, and K classrooms, and create new Areas of Rescue Assistance on all floors above the ground floor. Additionally, essential low voltage systems for elevator operation, including control wiring and integration with the Building Management System, will be installed. The scope of work also includes a full roof replacement with new roofing membranes, HVAC equipment, roof drains, and reconnection of refrigerant piping and conduits. This comprehensive approach ensures improved accessibility and modernization of the facility.
