Allcon Contracting was selected as the general contractor for the construction of a new DOT Operations Facility in Elwood, NY. The project included the restoration of an existing salt shed, the construction of a new heavy timber shed, and a new vehicle service and storage building, as well as the new operations office. Allcon performed more than 60% of the general contracting work on this project, including interior finishes, masonry, millwork, and metal panel installation. We worked closely with Laland Baptiste, who served as the CM on the project. Our collaborative approach ensured that the building was completed on time and within budget, while addressing any unforeseen field conditions and issues that arose. This was the second project collaboration between Allcon and Laland Baptiste, and our teamwork proved invaluable in delivering a successful project.
