All-Con Contracting served as the General Contractor for a major, multi-year renovation at 500 Brighton Court (Brighton Houses Inc.), an 18-story, 192-unit senior residential building located along the Brighton Beach boardwalk. The work was executed through a carefully phased approach while the building remained fully occupied, requiring continuous coordination with ownership, residents, and the Construction Manager. The scope included extensive interior apartment renovations, full window and door replacement, large-scale facade and structural steel repairs, storefront and entrance upgrades, comprehensive HVAC and electrical system replacements, and complete roof replacement. A key component of the project was the construction of new additions on the second-floor plaza to house a new mechanical room, electrical room, and emergency generator, critical infrastructure designed to improve resiliency following Superstorm Sandy. This challenging project delivered its greatest reward by creating a safer, more resilient building capable of withstanding future storms while ensuring the comfort, security, and well-being of its senior residents.
